Considering the number of times I've driven through or even walked through downtown Portsmouth, you'd think I'd have noticed more of the rich culture and beautiful scenery that blankets every inch of that town. Ive always had a particular destination, and most of the place was but land to be crossed, time to be spent in reaching that destination. Never has the destination been the travelling. There are so many things I hadn't noticed until I took a slow walk through with good friends, visiting the local communities' childrens' book inspired artwork, hidden between the smallest nooks of the town that you'd miss if you walked at even a slightly quickened pace.
